I found it at the liquidation store. The blister pack was already opened, but the unit looks factory newly-released with the instructions still neatly folded in place, and with the security tag still attached. The battery was obviously still in the unit.
Push the button and it lights up the red LED. And I verified that there is a radio signal coming out at that time. (about 318 Mhz).
Amazon sells them for about $25. Amazon says there are DIP switches inside that have to be set to match your receiver.
