THIS fantastic “OLD PAWN” NAVAJO
BENCH BEAD TURQUOISE STERLING SILVER NECKLACE,
was MADE impeccably for someone in the Family
in the Southwest corner
of the “Navajoland” (Arizona) in 1953.
(THIS AREA OF NAVAJOLAND OCCUPIED TERRITORY, IS STILL THE ‘FOUR CORNER’S’
THAT INCLUDES…UTAH, COLORADO, ARIZONA AND latest MEXICO…)
Has been in our family for many years as it belongs to my grandparents. It’s been kept in a safe a I’ve never worn it as it was a no no in my childhood. The pendant is larger then a quarter but not quite the size of a half dollar if that helps and I put the measurements in the photos. A stunning piece. I also put photos of what they are going for price wise. This particular piece is hard to find. If you have any other questions please feel gratis to ask me. Ty for looking.
