9th century BCE Celtic amulet

This decorative amulet has been cleaned by myself and an applique has been applied to bring back the darker spots and cause a slight patina that is a natural process and not a chemical process to darken the low spots and keep the high spots bright. All natural varnish has been applied to it that will eventually wear off one day itself. But it will not cause harm to anyone or anything even if somebody has a tendency to put their necklace pendants in their mouth. Drives me bananas when I see my daughter doing it but hey who Am i. Anyway back to this this is an incredible example of ancient Celtic metal work that it's best because it's absolutely gorgeous. It was sold to me as a piece that was a little longer but it was jagged and I had to square it off so it lost about a third of its original size but I don't think it made much of a difference seeing as how beautiful it is. Perfect for everyday use. premium materials and excellent craftsmanship ensure long-lasting durability.
