In 1989, this fleece jacket was developed for expeditions and is a heritage model of THE NORTH FACE. The specifications of the time have been retained, while the size has been adjusted. The microfleece material, made from recycled plastic bottles, is lightweight, thick, and silky to the touch. It effectively traps dead air, keeping the inside of the garment at a cushy temperature, and the drawcord at the hem can be tightened to further increase airtightness. The shoulders and elbows, which are prone to interference with a pack, are reinforced with recycled nylon woven fabric. The Static Care design is used to suppress the generation of static electricity.
