15 1/2" x 12 1/2" brown oval frame with gold accents. Circa late 1800s or early 1900s.
Frame has a few nicks and scratches.
The German inscription reads "Sei getreu bis in den Tod so will ich dir die Krone des ewigen Lebens geben," which translates to "Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life"
