While some are newer, highly are well-worn and have a certain charm.
The illustrations are also quite old-fashioned, and the subjects are interesting, fancy the demon woman of Rashomon or a first battle.
I know about Yoshitsune, but I don't know much about Yoshiie or Yoshiie. I've at no time even heard of Asahina Saburo or Marubashi Tadayoshi...
Would you pick up someone enjoy Kiso Yoshinaka?
On the other hand, there's no Oda Nobunaga or Tokugawa Ieyasu.
It's a bit unusual and interesting, I think.
