More information about Columbia Viva-Tonal Grafonola Model 161. A portable phonograph from 1928.

A Columbia Vivatonal Grafonola Model 161: The first Orthophonic Portable Phonograph model available on the market!

It comes equipped with its Original No.15 Vivatonal reproducer (or soundbox) and she sound gorgeous! We personally tuned-up this reproducer using completely original parts to this machine.
This rare antique features faux alligator leather on the exterior with wooden accents and brass/gold colored metals. An aging, but sturdy handle make it effortless to transport between locations. She even provides a record trap that fits more than 5 records safely!
This antique was made in the late 1920s and its rare to come across one in such impeccable working condition. It is able to play any 78rpm record, though the device was originally made to play Orthophonic, or electrically recorded, records prefer the one playing in the video provided.

I am bundling this gorgeous piece of music history with 3 era appropriate records and more than 20 needles; READY TO PLAY UPON ARRIVAL!
