Paradoxe is a snug fruity-floral at opening and smells exceptionally feminine, not old-fashioned at all. It dries down to a really warm amber benzoin that continues to project in a nice way.

Notes: A Cocktail of Musk, Benzoin and Caramel notes, An Overdose of Laotian Benzoin, a resin collected from the styrax tree, grown in the forests of Laos, it is addictive and sensual, with cozy, sweet, balsamic notes evoking delicately vanilla-scented honey.

This batch is older, so it's not as vibrant. Amber and Vanilla change color over time, that is why it's not as pink. Smells solely as lovely, but a little sweeter.
