This vintage Mexican Black Ware pottery sculpture features a seated couple adorned with a hand-painted harlequin pattern in shades of blue and lavender. The piece exhibits each the hallmark characteristics of a Manuel Felguérez (1928–2020) sculpture, including the distinctive eye design and geometric patterning typical of his abstract style. While unsigned—Felguérez did not always sign his works—it strongly reflects his artistic signature.

Despite being hollow, the sculpture is quite substantial, weighing approximately 17.5 lbs. It measures 16 inches wide, 14 inches tall, and about 11 inches deep. There is a missing section on the man's back arm, but considering its likely age (circa 1950s), the sculpture remains in good overall condition.
