Almost all of obafer's products are made on domestic knitting machines, and this skipper is no exception. The knit fabric is knitted for each part, and those parts are then sewn together by the designer, Mr. Obara, himself.

As you can see in the photos, the lovely ribbing is also made by hand, so the unevenness that cannot be achieved by machines or machine knitting creates a handcrafted feel that is different from vintage clothing, giving it a refined taste exclusive to obafer.
