Choose healthy stems: Select firm, healthy stems from your Lepismium cruciforme plant.
Cut the stems: Use a clean, sharp knife or scissors to cut the stems into sections, about 10cm long.
Allow to callous: Let the cut ends dry and callous over for a few hours or overnight to prevent rot.
Insert the calloused cuttings into a well-draining cactus mix, ensuring they are buried deep enough to stand upright. Water sparingly: Lepismium cruciforme prefers dry soil, so water only when the soil is completely dry.
