This is a stringing activity using a bear and a yarn spool.

Even for young children who still put things in their mouths, I think it's safe because it's a large size and they can't swallow it if you're careful.

Stringing is good for developing hand-eye coordination.
Hand-eye coordination?
Holding the yarn spool or bear in one hand and the string in the other, skillfully bringing the string to the hole, carefully threading it through the hole while watching, and then picking up the string that comes out of the hole.
If you can do this, it's pretty marvelous.
When I made it for the first time, my daughter's hands were sweating so much that the string got wet and changed color.
I was so touched to see how hard she worked on it.
She was so happy that she wore it as a necklace until she went to bed.

You can use the included string, but you can also use hair ties or your favorite ribbons for stringing.
To make it easier to thread, you can solidify the end of the string with glue for 2-3 centimeters or wrap it with cellophane tape to make it firm and easier to thread.
Using a rubber band is recommended because it is elastic and won't break when worn around the neck.
