The Manhattans "Sweet Talk" LP
This album from 1989 features the new lineup of The Manhattans, with Roger Harris as the lead singer, after Gerald Alston left the group to pursue a solo career. The title track is a youthful dance number that truly embodies the new Manhattans, and Roger delivers an energetic vocal performance reminiscent of Ali-Ollie Woodson of The Temptations.I recall this being released on an independent label and not getting much attention, but I personally feel it's a great album. What are your thoughts? Please understand that this is a used record, and there may be wear and tear on the jacket, scratches on the record itself, and the typical surface noise of an analog record. Please consider this before purchasing.
